Lee Hazlewood- I'll Be Your Baby Tonight
Another great, hard to come by, album from Lee's time in Sweden. Has a song from "13" and one from "Requiem For An Almost Lady" and more in that vein. As you can guess, it's a damn good listen.
1) Lone Ranger Ain't My Friend Anymore
2) She Comes Running
3) Stone Lost Child
4) I'll Be Your Baby Tonight (featuring Ann-Kristin Hedmark
5) Urge For Going
6) Taxi
7) Paris Song
8) A Better Place To Be

Hi Chuck,
ReplyDeleteJust stumbled on to your blog while searching for Lee Hazlewood stuff. Thanks for posting all this stuff. I'm curious if you know a safe place to download stuff from the "Cowboy and the Ladies". I've been looking for that one for a while, particularly for "Dark End of the Street". I picked up a couple of the Smells Like reissues a few years back, but didn't get my hands on that one. Thanks, Peter in Omaha
i got a lot of these from a blog called "the realm of x" (i think) but i think i got that one somewhere else, not the best quality, but good enough for me. if you can't find it, let me know.

I also stumbled and want to say thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great, rare Lee records. You don't have Poet, Fool, or Bum, do you?
ReplyDeleteThanks again?
Unfortunately I don't...but I'll keep an eye out. There can never be too much Hazlewood.
